– Lake Servières, of volcanic origin, is located at an altitude of 1 meters, it is the mother branch of the Sioule which originates here. It forms a circular sheet 202 m deep and covers 26,5 ha; its surroundings are made up of pine, spruce woods and pastures. Swimming is prohibited (grazing animals coming to bathe there). Its very pure and very clear waters make it one of the favorite landmarks of fishermen in the department (volcanic crater lake).

1/ From the start sign, take the path on the right.
2/ At the crow's feet, go left. Then, ignore all the paths on the left and follow the lake. Cross two stepladders.
3/ At the protection barriers, leave the peat bog on the right (information panel). Continue along the lakeside.
4/ At the end of the loop, turn left and return to the start.
