How to choose a hike?

Choose your route based on duration and mileage:

  • A few kilometers for families, for novice walkers, for a digestive walk, etc.
  • Hikes in Auvergne between 4 and 13 kilometers, ideal for all those who wish to have fun, discover the surroundings, nature, local heritage.
  • Hiking trails requiring a certain level of physical fitness and preparation due to their distance and significant elevation gain.

These walking trails are all maintained and marked so you don't get lost. The search by municipality concerns the names of the municipalities where the hiking trails are located, so be sure to check the starting point on the sheet (it may be different from the village center). For example, hikes from Lake Guéry are indicated starting from the municipality of Orcival. To find your way around more easily, you can search from the map where the hiking trails' starting points are visible.
