Calm reigns supreme, gliding along the rails of transhumance, you will discover magnificent landscapes. The Vélorail is a fun, ecological activity, combining the practice of pedaling and the discovery of sites and heritage.
What are these funny machines? White, yellow, red, multi-wheeled. Closer, we discover a pedal-bike intersection, all extending along 32 km of an old railway line. These are cycle rails. These are from Cézallier. In winter they hibernate, so it is from April to October that we can approach them. The Cézallier rail bike? The guarantee of a funny and unexpected experience accessible to the whole family. Two possible departure stations: Landeyrat and Allanche, making a total of six routes from 6 to 24 km round trip from the easiest to the most sporty, 1 hour 30 minutes to 5 hours of emotion.
Possibility of choosing electrically assisted cycle rails too.
Depending on the chosen circuit, discovery of the Cascade des Veyrines, the Saint Saturnin viaduct, the village of Lugarde, the Cuze cave, the beautiful village of Moissac and so many other things that only nature can offer us. Take the time to wander in the heart of the summer pastures with the Salers cow as a neighbor, dip your feet in the water, stroll in the woods, grab an appetizing packed lunch to eat on the trails prepared by the Landeyrat café, to share a cheese and charcuterie board from local producers, or even sit down to regional dishes. In July and August, take advantage of garage sales, musical groups, DJ evenings, summer festival!
COVID 19 provisions: To welcome the rail bike, it is preferable that only one person from the group or family enters to avoid overcrowding the room.
There will be one direction of flow in the café with an entrance door and an exit door.
People wishing to consume at the café will of course be able to sit down (in the dining room or on the terrace). Tables will be at least 1m apart.
Each rail bike will be disinfected after each slot.

- Bring suitable equipment, you are in mid-mountain (around 1000 m altitude)
-Animals are prohibited on the cycle rails (presence of herds of cows along the railway line) but animal daycare is possible at the departure station.
-Attention: arrive 1/2 hour before at the departure station!
