Saint Donat is a charming little village in the heart of Auvergne, at the foot of the Sancy massif, an ideal place for holidays with family or friends, in a preserved and authentic natural setting. Summer and winter, there is no shortage of activities: downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, fitness, heritage, visits, entertainment...

The farmhouse consists of a single floor. On the ground floor, there is an equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and gas stove), a living room area, dining room dominated by its Cantou (fireplace), bathroom bath and WC.
The first floor has two back-to-back bedrooms served by a landing. The first bedroom consists of a double bed and the second of a double bed and a single bed or three single beds depending on needs. Wifi is accessible throughout the house. Heating is central although a fire in the available stove or in the inglenook fireplace will make your evenings even warmer. Outside, a private terrace and access to the property and its pond!
In winter, the house is located 25 minutes from the Super Besse ski resort, 15 minutes from Chastreix Sancy, more family-friendly, or 35 minutes from the Mont Dore resort, so the location is ideal for going to the winter sports, recharging your batteries, while enjoying nature without the hustle and bustle of resorts. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are not left out with two of the most important departures from the Massif Central, that of La Stèle and that of Pertuyzat, both accessible in just 20 minutes.
On sunny days (or in case of low snowfall), a host of other activities are available (dog sledding (with go-karts), walks and hikes, visits, heritage, caves, farms and of course cheese tasting , we are at the heart of the AOP Saint Nectaire!
In any season, the spa towns of La Bourboule and Mont Dore located around 30 minutes away are worth visiting and in particular the thermal baths of Mont Dore classified among the most beautiful in Europe.
Regarding heritage, Saint-Donat also has a 30th century Romanesque church. For history lovers, one example among others is Murol Castle, a Middle Ages fortress located XNUMX minutes from the house.
