Gîte de la Rivière

Located in a village with all amenities, in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park, halfway between the Massif du Sancy and the Chaîne des Puys, 1/2 hour west of Clermont-Fd. Calm, Nature, Hiking.

We offer you a cottage that we have just renovated in 2022. Rated 3 stars, it is very functional and has all the comfort necessary for a pleasant stay. With a surface area of ​​approximately 80m square, it is composed as follows:
Entrance: covered and fenced terrace, 8,5 square meters. Dining area and barbecue.
Ground floor: living room with pellet stove fitted in the old fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen, table, small living room, and technical room under the stairs.
1st floor: TV lounge (with sofa bed and blackout curtains to make an extra bedroom for 2), bathroom (shower, washing machine), and toilet.
Under the attic: 2 bedrooms (one for parents - 160 cm bed - and one “children's”, the 2 single beds of which can be combined into a 160 cm bed).
Hygiene products and organic cleaning products available. Possibility to rent sheets.
Our cottage is located in a very quiet street in the town, very close to the Sioule river (located rue de la rivière). 200m away, towards the church square, you will find a very well stocked grocery store/bread depot, as well as an inn-bar and a campsite-bar-tabac 200m away, also very close in the village. Every weekend, the village comes alive with a very nice farmers' market! Around you will be spoiled for choice: hikes departing directly from the cottage, and in our territory: nature, cultural, and other activities: cf. all the information on this site!
