Rivière La Burande- Le Burandou
The Burande rises at an altitude of more than 1.700 m on the western flank of the Puy de Sancy in the commune of Chastreix.
It descends towards La Tour-d'Auvergne, passes south of Tauves and joins the Dordogne on the left bank, at the northern end of the Bort-les-Orgues dam reservoir.
The route here includes the confluence between Burande and Burandou.
