It is a crater lake located at 1200m altitude. Thanks to the quality of its waters, valuable aquatic grass beds are present (lake quillwort, swimming flute and single-flowered litorelle).

ENS Lac Servières

These meadows very sensitive to trampling are protected. Property of the Department of Puy-de-Dôme, the objective is to protect the wealth it houses while allowing everyone to enjoy it! Fisheries management of Lake Servières is the responsibility of the Federation of Fishing and Protection of Aquatic Environments of Puy de Dôme.

Access

  • Lac Servières is located 8 km from the village of Orcival, on the road leading to Mont Dore and the Col du Guéry (D 983).
  • From the car park, access is a few minutes on foot.
  • For walkers, a hike of about 2 kilometers allows you to go around it.
