Classified as a Grand Site de France and located near Clermont-Ferrand, the Puy de Dôme is the emblematic figure of the entire department to which it gave its name in 1791. This Pelean-type volcano reigns from its height of 1 m over the Chaîne des Puys and its 465 volcanoes, listed as World Heritage by UNESCO.

A unique 360° panorama

From the top of the Puy de Dôme, the highest peak in a chain of 80 volcanoes, a 360° panorama awaits you: the Chain of volcanic hills, le Sancy massif, the Forez mountains, but also the plain of Limagne and the forest of the County.
