The body of water fitted out for supervised swimming throughout the summer offers lovers of aquatic leisure activities and strollers a breathtaking view of the village perched on its promontory of basaltic columns.
One lake, several activities
At 940 meters above sea level, the Lac de la Tour d'Auvergne is an artificial body of water created in 1969 in a setting surrounded by nature. It allows all generations to indulge in many activities in a green and quiet environment.

Thus children will be able to enjoy the playgrounds made available to them, play on the beach or swim with their parents in the supervised area all summer long. The older ones can practice tennis on one of the 2 courts present, or football on the dedicated field.

A preserved environment
On the western slope of Sancy massif, the lake of the Tour d'Auvergne is laid out in a preserved natural setting. Nearby, you can follow several hiking trails on foot or by mountain bike to observe the fauna and flora of this wonderful region, but also to discover remarkable sites. For example, you can admire not far the Stone Bridge waterfalls, St. Elizabeth and Gour of horses.
