The church of Notre Dame was awarded Historic Monument status by the decree of 11th February 1908.
It was built during the 12th century: the machicolation above the north door (13th century Gothic in style) demonstrates the insecurity of the era. The multi-coloured and historiated capitals have recently been restored. The capitals, central nave with pointed vault, which is supported as there are two side aisles, and the foundations, are representative of Romanesque art in Auvergne.
