The chapel of Ste-Madeleine (Tauves)

Built further down and outside the enclosure, the chapel of Sainte Madeleine probably stands on the remains of a former castle chapel.

The construction of the current building appears to stem from the 17th century. The chapel’s bell was cast in 1602, but the belfry which holds it is much more recent, not having been built earlier than the 19th century. Every 22nd July, a mass is held in the chapel.
