Description
From Laschamps, the GTMC mountain bike route follows superb paths to Recoleine then Orcival. A short visit to the Basilica of Notre-Dame-des-Fers is a must, which is a major work of Romanesque Art.
We gradually enter the Sancy massif. Plan a picnic break on the banks of Lake Servières before setting off through the immense pastures and mountain summer pastures, guaranteeing a strong feeling of freedom. A pretty path through the undergrowth leads to Pessade, an outdoor resort and paradise for outdoor sports.
We end in apotheosis with an arrival on the banks of Lake Chambon with the Sancy massif in the background. A swim is essential after this good mountain bike ride!
