An eruption of Auvergne spirits in a unique place! Installed in the former “hot room” of Bayard, it brings mining heritage back to life. On site, discover all the stages of production of the different distilled alcohols.

Originally from Puydo, my career as an oenologist-agronomist took me to the Cognac region where I perfected my know-how in the production of gourmet and gourmet spirits. By creating the Scories distillery, the aim is to offer eaux-de-vie “really” produced in Puy-de-Dôme without resorting to services on the other side of France. The common thread is the highlighting of French know-how: still made by hand by a craftsman from Périgord, local agricultural raw materials as much as possible, no sweetening of spirits. The distillery is a member of the Collège Culinaire de France, the Tour des Terroirs and a partner of Toques d'Auvergne.
You go to your baker for a good baguette so come to your oenologist-distiller for a good alcohol!

Visit mainly dedicated to adults. No contraindication to come with children but a distillery remains a professional universe with elements at risk: gas, alcohol, machines. Parents must ensure the supervision of their children within the establishment.

Meet our partners

Child of the country, nature and agriculture have surrounded me since childhood. This environment has driven my training and professional choices. With a degree in agricultural engineering and oenology, I have traveled across France and beyond to gather know-how in the production of spirits and wines. Through the Scories Distillery, my desire is to offer you the best artisanal spirits.

Sustainable tourism

French wines and spirits are the result of centuries-old know-how and are part of the French gastronomic heritage. The wine and spirits sector provides a livelihood for many indirect players and contributes to perpetuating excellent artisanal trades: boilermaking, glassmaking, corkmaking, etc.
