1/ Take the grassy path which, passing the foot of the statue of Saint Pierre, climbs to Calvary (panorama of the Chaîne des Puys).
2/ Go down opposite, turn right onto the road which runs alongside the cemetery and return to the start sign. Continue opposite, to the left of the church, and go down the left on the road, direction “Le Léry”. Follow the D2089 on the right for 30 m; go down the first street on the right then immediately take the street on the left. Go to the underpass, take it and go up through the village to a small road.
3/ Take it on the left then, after 50 m, take a path on the right. At the fork, go up to the right. Cross the woods and, at the exit, follow the edge path to the right. After 200 m, ignore a path on the right and go down the main path. At the T-junction, turn left. At the next crossroads, go left then at the intersection, go left. Cross the Sioulot and go up the road to the village square of Prades (stone cross and trough).
4/ Continue opposite, cross the D986 and follow the small road to the hamlet of Rioux. At the watering hole, leave the road to take a path straight ahead and go down to the La Miouze river. Follow it for 100 m until the crossroads (before the bridge).
5/ Go up the path on the left and go back down. Near the road (D80), take the path on the left until the intersection at the end of the climb.
6/ Leave the path for a AR (10 mins) to the right until the first intersection (view of the Banne d'Ordanche, puy de l'Ouire and the Tuilière and Sanadoire rocks to the south, the Chaîne des Puys to the south west). Find the path and continue. Just before the first Massage house, turn right onto the sunken path between low stone walls, pass in front of a fountain and continue as far as the D80. Cross it and continue straight on to pass under the road bridge. Go right, cross, take the path on the left, follow a concrete block wall and turn left. Follow the same path for 1,5 km until you reach a crossroads (another yellow PR) (stone cross).
7/ Turn left. Cross a small stream and follow it on the right (view of the Chaîne des Puys). At the road, head left (bread oven with 2 fireplaces, picnic area) to reach the start. Click here to type text.
