1/ From the departure sign located at the entrance to the town center, opposite the cheese factory, go under the road bridge. Go left, immediately go up to the right, and 50 m further, take the path on the left until you reach a junction.
2/ Turn right. At the T-junction, turn left. Ignore side paths. At the fork, stay left and at the T-intersection, go down right. At the fork (outside PR, mineral spring 200 m away), turn right and cross the stream. Go up the road until the first bend. Continue climbing along the path on the right and join a wide path. Continue straight ahead, ignoring the side paths, until the T junction. Go left towards Olmont. At the road, go up left to cross the hamlet. After the last house, continue straight on a wide path until you reach an intersection.
3/ Head right and continue straight. In Neuville, go down the wide path to the left until you reach the mill. Cross the stream and go up to the left on the plateau (view of the Puys chain and the Sancy massif). In Arières, go around the church on the left, then go down towards the cemetery. Follow it to the right. At the first junction, turn left onto a grassy path. At the intersection, go right and continue straight until you reach a signpost (altitude 975 m).
4/ Turn left until you reach the road. Follow it to the right. Pass under the road bridge and head right. At the crossroads, turn left, then continue straight. At the entrance to the forest, go up opposite. At the fork, continue right, and at the crossroads, turn left. At the exit of the woods stay right. At the crossroads (view of the puys of Lassolas, Pourcharet, Mercoeur), go left until you reach a fork.
5/ Go left towards the puy de Pourcharet, go around it to the right. At the first intersection, turn right. At the crossroads (view of the Sancy), go down right to Recoleine. At the crossroads, turn right for 40 m and go up the path on the right. At the junction, continue opposite, then turn left and immediately right. At the cross path, go left. At the Nébouzat cemetery, go down to the left (carved cross shaft) along the winding road to the church. Go around it to the left and reach the start.
