Self-taught photographer and loyal to film for more than twenty five years. It is during his travels in Auvergne, that Michel BRICCHI realizes his photographs, powerful chiaroscuro, that his sensitivity always transcribes in black and white.

This is the mode of expression that suits me best; for me, monochrome photography goes straight to the point. By disregarding color, I effectively eliminate data capable of subjectively disturbing emotional fields. Thus I give the image all its beauty while reinforcing its part of mystery, thus leaving a great place to the imagination of the spectator. My work in deep blacks makes us discover textures and superb atmospheres.
