The illustration has an unpredictable and elusive side, which makes each encounter unique and magical. It is this feeling, this fascination, that Élline CONTI tries to transcribe through her works.

Animal drawing has always been part of my life. If it was based on fantasy during my adolescence, it evolved with my studies to be more realistic, more naturalistic.
Illustration therefore meets my second passion, that of wildlife, which has fascinated me since a very young age. There is so much diversity in shapes, colors, or adaptations. She lives by our side, without our being aware of it. When we are interested in it, we discover that there are a lot of different species, most of them are just discreet, like neighbors that we would see without recognizing them, so little we know them.
