This unknown and little visible site in the shadow of the Puy de Dôme, has just revealed, during the last decade, many historical and archaeological secrets.

Your nature guide accompanies you to the foot of the Puy de Dôme on the remains of the ancient Gallo-Roman settlement of the Col de Ceyssat, which was an essential stopover for travelers on the Agrippa Way which linked Lugdunum (Lyon) to the coast Atlantic and starting point of the pilgrimage to the temple of Mercury at the top of the Puy de Dôme.
You will follow in the footsteps of ancient temples which punctuated a route of veneration, a necropolis as well as hospitalias, places of reception and restoration.
Along the way if the opportunity arises, your nature guide will draw your attention to signs of the presence of local fauna and give you some explanations about the flora.
